Applied Quantum Computing (AQC), in collaboration with University College London and Evelina London Children’s Hospital at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, has been awarded a grant under the STFC/NQCC SparQ programme to investigate the prediction of adverse events for patients in intensive care using classical–quantum hybrid methods.
The project addresses a clinically significant challenge and has the potential to deliver clear benefits for both patients and clinicians through improved decision support in critical care settings. This award represents the third STFC/NQCC grant received by AQC. The formal NQCC announcement can be found here.
